De Barbaresco Serragrilli DOCG van Marchesi di Barolo is afkomstig van de gelijknamige cru Serragrilli, een zacht glooiende heuvel in de gemeente Neive met een zuidwestelijke expositie. Dankzij deze ligging genieten de Nebbiolo druiven tot laat in de avond van zonlicht. De compacte kalk en kleibodems, bedekt met kwartszand en fijne silt, geven de wijn zijn uitgesproken finesse, structuur en terroir expressie. In het glas toont de wijn zich robijnrood met typische granaatrode reflecties. De neus is breed en verfijnd, met florale aroma’s van wilde viooltjes, rijpe braambessen en delicate kruidige toetsen van kaneel en nootmuskaat. In de mond is hij stevig en vol, met een harmonieuze, evenwichtige structuur en rijpe fijne tannines die nooit domineren en zorgen voor elegantie en lengte. Na een strikt handmatige oogst worden de druiven zorgvuldig ontsteeld en zacht geperst. De alcoholische gisting verloopt bij gecontroleerde temperatuur met schilweking, waarbij regelmatige overpompingen zorgen voor een optimale extractie van kleur, aroma’s en polyfenolen. Zodra het ideale extractieniveau is bereikt, wordt de wijn overgeheveld om zijn balans en zuiverheid te behouden. De rijping duurt minstens negen maanden in eikenhout, waarvan 80?% in grote Slavonische vaten van 30?hl en 20?% in Franse barriques, gevolgd door een verdere flesrijping van minimaal zes maanden. Serveer deze Barbaresco bij voorkeur op 18?°C, bij verfijnde vleesgerechten, kalfsvlees, gevogelte, paddenstoelen of gerijpte kazen. Dit is een elegante, toegankelijke cru Barbaresco voor liefhebbers van klassieke Nebbiolo, met een mooi bewaarpotentieel en een verfijnde evolutie op fles.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back or return them to the shop. You pay the direct cost of returning goods by post; returning them to the shop is free.
