Negroamaro is hét emblematische druivenras van Salento, beroemd om zijn intense, karaktervolle expressie. Rivera geeft er een frisse, moderne interpretatie aan, gericht op het benadrukken van de levendige aroma’s van rood fruit en de subtiel balsamische toetsen die zo typisch zijn voor deze variëteit. Deze benadering resulteert in een toegankelijke maar gelaagde wijn die het warme, mediterrane karakter van Zuid Puglia perfect weerspiegelt. In het glas toont de wijn een diepe robijnrode kleur. De neus is complex en expressief, met aroma’s van wilde donkere bessen en een hint van zoethout. In de mond is hij soepel en verfijnd, met een lange, gelaagde afdronk waarin de aangenaam bittere toets, kenmerkend voor negroamaro, elegant terugkeert. De druiven worden meestal in de tweede helft van september geoogst en gedurende 8–9 dagen warm vergist bij 28°C. Vervolgens rijpt de wijn 9 maanden in betonnen cuves, een keuze die het fruit en het pure karakter van deze druivensoort optimaal bewaart. Serveer deze Negroamaro op kamertemperatuur of eventueel heel licht gekoeld. Ideaal als veelzijdige maaltijdwijn bij pasta, soepen en diverse vleesgerechten, maar ook heerlijk om puur van te genieten. Deze wijn is perfect voor liefhebbers van mediterrane rode wijnen met karakter, zachtheid en een uitgesproken regionale signatuur.

In-stock items: usually ready for dispatch within 1–2 working days. Backorders: usually 5–10 working days before dispatch, plus transit time. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back or return them to the shop. You pay the direct cost of returning goods by post; returning them to the shop is free.
