Giallo d’Arles is een single vineyard cuvée van Quintodecimo, vernoemd naar Van Gogh’s favoriete gele tint uit zijn Arles periode. Deze Greco di Tufo komt van het Giallo d’Arles perceel in Santa Lucia (Tufo), aangeplant in 2001 op 450 m hoogte, en weerspiegelt het kalk klei terroir met een uitgesproken, terroirgedreven karakter. In het glas toont hij een diepe geel gouden kleur met soms amberaccenten. De neus opent op abrikozencompote en kweepeerjam, aangevuld met subtiele witte bloemen en een silex achtige mineraliteit. Mondvullend en toch fris, presenteert hij zich vol en krachtig, met een levendige zuurgraad en een zachte, tannine achtige grip die hem structuur en lengte geeft. De vinificatie is gericht op intensiteit en authenticiteit: zachte pneumatische persing, scheiding van vrijloopmost en bescherming tegen zuurstof. De fermentatie verloopt voor 70% in roestvrij staal en voor 30% in nieuwe eiken barriques, gevolgd door vier maanden rijping sur lie met regelmatige bâtonnage. Er wordt geen klaring toegepast, wat bijdraagt aan de rijke kleur en het bewaarpotentieel. Serveer op 10–12 °C. en past uitstekend bij rijke visgerechten, gevogelte met krachtige sauzen, gerechten met gedroogd fruit of noten en gerijpte kazen. Een overtuigende keuze voor liefhebbers van volle, karaktervolle witte wijnen. Dankzij zijn structuur en de combinatie van houtopvoeding en ongeraffineerde vinificatie heeft Giallo d’Arles een indrukwekkend bewaarpotentieel en wint hij aan complexiteit bij verdere rijping.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
As a consumer, you may withdraw from your online purchase within 14 calendar days of receipt by emailing info@ginwinkel.be or making another unambiguous statement. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back or return them to the shop. You pay the direct cost of returning goods by post; returning them to the shop is free. Unused, unopened products may be exchanged free of charge in the shop with proof of purchase within 30 days of receipt. Statutory exceptions continue to apply; your statutory withdrawal and warranty rights remain unaffected.
