Poggio alle Gazze dell’Ornellaia is de iconische witte wijn van het legendarische Toscaanse domein Ornellaia, gelegen op een steenworp van de Middellandse Zee in Bolgheri. Geïnspireerd door de frisse zeebries en het unieke kustterroir combineert deze verfijnde witte wijn elegantie, aromatische intensiteit en mediterrane charme. De blend van Sauvignon Blanc, Vermentino aangevuld met kleine hoeveelheden Sémillon en Viognier brengt internationale finesse en Toscaanse authenticiteit harmonieus samen. In het glas schittert de wijn met een diepe, levendige gele kleur. De neus is expressief en uitnodigend, met uitbundige aroma's van rijpe mango, wilde bloemen en amandel. In de mond toont Poggio alle Gazze zich rijk en verleidelijk, waarbij een zachte textuur prachtig wordt ondersteund door een verkwikkende frisheid. De volle fruitaroma's en levendige zuren zorgen voor een verfijnd evenwicht, terwijl elegante toetsen van acaciabloesem en rozenblaadjes uitmonden in een lange, harmonieuze afdronk. De druiven worden in de vroege ochtend met de hand geoogst en onmiddellijk gekoeld om hun aromatische frisheid optimaal te bewaren. Na een uiterst zachte persing en een zorgvuldige selectie fermenteert de most gedeeltelijk in barriques, inox tanks, betonnen cuves en amforen. De wijn ondergaat geen malolactische gisting en rijpt vervolgens acht maanden op de fijne lies met regelmatige bâtonnage, gevolgd door een bijkomende flesrijping voor vrijgave. Deze nauwkeurige vinificatie bewaart zowel de frisheid als de complexiteit van de wijn. Serveer op 10 tot 12°C bij schaal- en schelpdieren, fijne visgerechten, gegrilde langoustines, risotto met zeevruchten, pasta vongole of verfijnde mediterrane bereidingen. Dankzij zijn combinatie van rijkdom en fraîcheur voelt deze wijn zich perfect thuis aan een gastronomische tafel. Poggio alle Gazze dell’Ornellaia richt zich tot liefhebbers van grote Italiaanse witte wijnen die zoeken naar finesse, diepgang en terroirexpressie. De wijn biedt vandaag al enorm veel drinkplezier, maar beschikt eveneens over het potentieel om zich gedurende meerdere jaren verder te ontwikkelen op fles.

In-stock items: usually ready for dispatch within 1–2 working days. Backorders: usually 5–10 working days before dispatch, plus transit time. The estimated delivery date and available options are shown at checkout. Estonia: standard delivery €27, stated delivery time 1–3 working days. Other destinations: options and charges are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address. Payment by Bancontact, Visa and Mastercard.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
As a consumer, you may withdraw from your online purchase within 14 calendar days of receipt by emailing info@ginwinkel.be or making another unambiguous statement. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back or return them to the shop. You pay the direct cost of returning goods by post; returning them to the shop is free. Please contact us about incorrectly supplied or defective products.
Unused, unopened products may be exchanged free of charge in the shop with proof of purchase within 30 days of receipt. Statutory exceptions continue to apply; your statutory withdrawal and warranty rights remain unaffected.
