Deze monocépage Merlot, afkomstig van de legendarische wijngaard van Ulmo langs de oevers van Lago Arancio aangeplant in 1987 is het resultaat van jarenlange ervaring, passie en een perfecte ligging. Op bodems van gemiddelde tot diepe textuur, doorspekt met een overvloed aan kiezelstenen en delen van donkere, voedzame plantaardige grond, groeit de Merlot op een hoogte van 195 meter boven zeeniveau. Dit unieke terroir geeft de wijn zijn karakteristieke kracht en elegantie. Na een zorgvuldige handmatige oogst worden de druiven direct naar de wijnmakerij gebracht, waar ze worden ontritst en geperst. De fermentatie vindt plaats in roestvrijstalen tanks, waarbij de druiven 2 à 3 keer per dag kort worden overpompt om de delicate huidstructuur te beschermen en de complexiteit te verrijken. Na een fermentatie van 6 tot 8 dagen gaat de wijn naar Franse eikenhouten vaten, waar hij gedurende 14 maanden mag rijpen met de malolactische fermentatie volledig in het vat, wat een harmonieuze en ronde structuur oplevert. In het glas onthult Sito dell'Ulmo zijn compacte, robijnrode kleur. Het palet is rijk en verleidelijk: de zoete intensiteit van zwarte bes en gekonfijte viooltjes wordt prachtig afgewisseld met frisse tonen van tijm en lavendel, terwijl de levendige en zachte tannines zorgen voor een langdurige afdronk die zowel de ervaren kenner als de enthousiaste liefhebber weet te verrassen.

In-stock items: usually ready for dispatch within 1–2 working days. Backorders: usually 5–10 working days before dispatch, plus transit time. The estimated delivery date and available options are shown at checkout. Estonia: standard delivery €27, stated delivery time 1–3 working days. Other destinations: options and charges are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address. Payment by Bancontact, Visa and Mastercard.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
As a consumer, you may withdraw from your online purchase within 14 calendar days of receipt by emailing info@ginwinkel.be or making another unambiguous statement. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back or return them to the shop. You pay the direct cost of returning goods by post; returning them to the shop is free. Please contact us about incorrectly supplied or defective products.
Unused, unopened products may be exchanged free of charge in the shop with proof of purchase within 30 days of receipt. Statutory exceptions continue to apply; your statutory withdrawal and warranty rights remain unaffected.
