De Barolo Tradizione DOCG van Marchesi di Barolo is een klassieke expressie van Nebbiolo, afkomstig van zorgvuldig geselecteerde wijngaarden op de meest geschikte heuvels van de appellatie, waaronder Verduno, La Morra, Barolo en Grinzane Cavour. De kalk en kleihoudende bodems, deels bedekt met kwartszand, geven deze wijn zijn kenmerkende structuur en een breed, verfijnd aromatisch profiel. In het glas presenteert de wijn zich robijnrood met granaatrode reflecties. De neus is genereus met florale toetsen van wilde roos en een subtiele fruitige hint van wilde aardbei. In de mond is hij vol en omhullend, met zachte tannines en een levendige maar aangename zuurgraad die zorgt voor elegantie en balans. De druiven worden strikt met de hand geoogst, waarbij de beste trossen al in de wijngaard worden geselecteerd. Na ontstelen en persen start de alcoholische gisting in roestvrijstalen tanks bij gecontroleerde temperatuur, gelijktijdig met een schilweking van ongeveer vijftien dagen. Regelmatige overpompingen zorgen voor een optimale extractie van kleur, aroma’s en tannines. De rijping in hout duurt ongeveer twee jaar: het eerste jaar in Slavonische eikenhouten vaten van 30 en 60?hl, gevolgd door een tweede jaar in grote traditionele Slavonische vaten, waarin finesse en elegantie verder worden verfijnd. Na botteling rust de wijn nog minstens één jaar om zijn volledige expressie te bereiken. Serveer bij voorkeur op 18?°C, bij verfijnde vleesgerechten, wild, truffelbereidingen of gerijpte kazen. Dit is een Barolo voor liefhebbers van klassieke stijl, die nu al toegankelijk is maar duidelijk bewaarpotentieel heeft voor verdere evolutie op fles.

In-stock items: usually ready for dispatch within 1–2 working days. Backorders: usually 5–10 working days before dispatch, plus transit time. The estimated delivery date and available options are shown at checkout. Estonia: standard delivery €27, stated delivery time 1–3 working days. Other destinations: options and charges are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address. Payment by Bancontact, Visa and Mastercard.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
As a consumer, you may withdraw from your online purchase within 14 calendar days of receipt by emailing info@ginwinkel.be or making another unambiguous statement. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back or return them to the shop. You pay the direct cost of returning goods by post; returning them to the shop is free.
