Ontdek de Lagrein Riserva Vigna “Castel Ringberg” van Elena Walch. Deze 100 % Lagrein komt uit het exclusieve Vigna-terroir rondom kasteel Castel Ringberg op steile hellingen met zuidwest- en zuidoostexpositie die van 330 tot 400 meter boven zeeniveau reiken. Het unieke bodemprofiel bestaat uit 30.000 jaar oude gravel in de hogere zones, kalkrijke morene-ondergronden en losse mergelterrassen lager in het dal. De temperende invloed van het nabijgelegen Kalterer meer en de drogende zuidelijke Ora-wind zorgen voor warme dagen, koele nachten en een perfecte balans tussen rijp fruit en minerale spanning. Na handmatige oogst fermenteren de druiven circa tien dagen bij gecontroleerde temperatuur in roestvrijstalen tanks. Daarna ondergaat de wijn een malolactische gisting in Franse en Slavonische eiken barriques (70 hl en 22 hl), gevolgd door twintig maanden rijping in nieuwe Franse eiken vaten. Voor botteling rijpt de wijn nog enkele maanden sur lie. In het glas toont de Lagrein Riserva een intens en diep granaatrood van kleur. Het bouquet onthult aroma’s van veenbessen, krent, kers, donkere chocolade en fijne tabakstonen. De smaak wordt gedragen door fluwelige tannines, een frisse, kruidige mineraliteit en een lange, sappige afdronk. Serveer deze Vigna “Castel Ringberg” op 16–18 °C bij krachtige, hartige gerechten zoals hertenstoof, wildpatés, rood vlees of gerijpte kazen.

You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back or return them to the shop. You pay the direct cost of returning goods by post; returning them to the shop is free.
