Smaak en karakter
Pernand Vergelesses 1er Cru Vergelesses komt van een 5,3 hectare groot perceel op de zuidflank van de Corton heuvel. De zware, deels leemrijke bovenlagen en meer kleiige ondergrond geven deze Pinot Noir kracht, diepte en een uitgesproken terroir karakter: geconcentreerd fruit met een stevige structuur en minerale ondertoon. In het glas een diepe robijnkleur. De neus opent op rijp klein rood en zwart fruit, vergezeld van kruidige accenten en tonen van cacao. In de mond is de wijn complex en knapperig, met een volle textuur, goed geïntegreerd hout en zijdezachte tannines de afdronk is lang, genereus en eindigt op een lichte minerale toets. De vinificatie is zorgvuldig: handoogst, gedeeltelijke ontritsing (circa 50%), koele pre fermentaire maceratie van vijf dagen en fermentatie in kleine inox cuves. Zachte persing via zwaartekracht en 18 maanden rijping op fijne lies in Franse eiken vaten (ongeveer 25% nieuw) zorgen voor balans tussen concentratie en finesse. Serveer op 14–16 °C. Perfect bij gegrilde entrecôte, rood vlees, wild en rijke regionale kazen zoals Époisses of Brillat Savarin.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back or return them to the shop. You pay the direct cost of returning goods by post; returning them to the shop is free.
