Cielo 1908 Nero di Gio – Deep, powerful, and elegant
Cielo 1908 Nero di Gio is a characterful red wine that combines the strength of Southern Italy with the elegance of the North. This cuvée, a tribute to founder Giovanni Cielo, is crafted from carefully selected grapes such as Primitivo, Sangiovese, Negroamaro, and Merlot.
With its deep ruby-red color and intense aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, and plums, complemented by subtle hints of cinnamon, tobacco, and licorice, this wine offers a rich and complex aromatic experience. On the palate, it is full-bodied and powerful, with soft tannins and a long, velvety finish.
Perfectly paired with dishes like grilled red meat, game, rich pasta dishes, and aged cheeses.
Features:
- Grape varieties: Primitivo, Sangiovese, Negroamaro, Merlot
- Alcohol content: 14.5%
- Serving temperature: 16–18°C
- Flavor profile: Dry, full, and harmonious
